OK, so I'm sort of glad that I'm dreaming again. It's been a while since I've had anything good to write about, so I'm glad that it's starting back up again.

***I'm late for school one day, so I book it through nasty weather and everything to get there on time. When I eventually get there, instead of heading straight for my class, I get this splitting headache and head straight for the atrium (located conveniently in the center of the school). I collapse on the ground, my head throbbing, and I scream really loud because it feels like my head is going to explode. When my friends finally come to my aid, these huge black tendrils shoot up from the ground and begin to suffocate, asphyxiate, choke, and strangle everyone and everything around me. When I finally have the strength to get up and look around without feeling like I was going to vomit, I see a sea of corpses staring at me. The sight of dead eyes...thousands upon thousands of lifeless eyes staring blankly through me...it drove me insane (don't ask me how I could differentiate between sanity and insanity in my dreams...even I don't know how that happens), to say the least.

Then the tendrils began to tear apart the building itself--brick by brick, piece by piece. Up above, a large hole was ripped in the ceiling above me, letting in the downpour of rain. It began to flood and run between the piles of rubble, mixing with blood and dust and rising up to my ankles. When I looked straight ahead and around me, the landscape was vastly different: the ground had turned a charred gray, and the rubble of other buildings piled up off in the distance. Then, in one fell swoop, hundreds more tendrils rose from the ground and created a giant fissure all around me. Slowly at first, then quicker, the ground around the fissure crumbled and gave way, falling down an abyss. All that was left was me and an army of slimy, undulating tendrils waving before me, anticipating what I would do next...***

And there you have it. Just the latest entry in the DIARY OF THE DAMNED (insert dissonance here)!!!
