It ain't published, but its pretty darn close! My cousin and I wrote a short one act for our school, and they accepted it. They're going to put it on next term and even asked him to be the director. He's directed a couple things for them in the past. I'll probably be creative consultant or something.

Truth be told, me and my cousin came up with the idea but I actually wrote it. And it was accepted!

Vindication! Exultation! Celebrations!

So many things to consider, where should I ever start?

The big thing that leaps immediately to mind is that I came down with Swine Flu, or H1N1 as the scientist calls it. That was not fun in the least. It was the worst fever I've had in memory; stayed up all night for two or three nights with delusions I can't for the life of me recall, and I woke up profusely vomiting.

I was sick all of last week.

Thursday was my 21'st birthday! I was still sick, but decided I couldn't not go out ...

So, y'all probably know by now I've been digging this guy Matt for a few weeks. Well, he biked to the dodgeball game tonight because it was close to his house, and I have a hatchback car so I offered him a lift back (with room in the back for his bike). He accepted, and offered to show me his place, which I accepted, and then we ended up chatting about inanities on his futon in his little studio apartment. At ...

I assume most of us are on new books since last we checked, so I decided its time for an update

I am currently reading "Time and the Gods". It is a collection of short stories written by the master fantasist Lord Dunsany. (Yes, he was actually of Irish nobility.) Not only does he have an amazing life story, but his works are some of the best pieces of fantasy I have ever read. His novel, "The King of Elflands Daughter" is an unparalleled masterpiece in its beautiful imagery ...

A new school year: another season full of homework, tests, and nail-biting anxieties based entirely on misconceptions. Ah youth! T'was the springtime of life that young men despise and old men wish they could live again!

OK, so I'm sort of glad that I'm dreaming again. It's been a while since I've had anything good to write about, so I'm glad that it's starting back up again.

***I'm late for school one day, so I book it through nasty weather and everything to get there on time. When I eventually get there, instead of heading straight for my class, I get this splitting headache and head straight for the atrium (located conveniently in the center of the school). ***I'm standing in a room made entirely of mirrors: walls, ceiling, and floor are all reflecting my image back at me. I try and find an exit, but everything only reflects my image back to me; a confused, hopeless form sits down in the middle of the box to find that another small mirrored box is on the ceiling. I run downstairs to find the rest of my family doing the rest of their daily stuff already, and my mom asks me to run outside and grab the newspaper. I agree and head out there. So regardless to say, the stuff I'm writing now is way too personal and embarassing to post on here, but it is getting me in the habit of writing and editing.

After school on Tuesday, I forced my friend to record the trumpet part with me playing the tuba so we could actually have a hard copy, and I have to say that I'm impressed with the result!
