Warning System

I thought I'd let you guys in on the warning system, just to be fair. Nothing much to it; it's pretty straightforward. Just obey the rules and don't be turds. There are five warning levels in all.

1. Warning. - You will receive a warning.

2. Warning and (-) WS. - You will receive another warning and have fifty WS taken away.

3. (-) WS. - No warning; all your WS will be nuked.

4. Temp ban. - You'll be temporarily banned from the site.

5. Bye. - You're gone. IP banned.

If you've bought a specific board (dream board, art board, blog, etc.), I want to stress on how important it is to keep it active. If you don't keep one of the boards you keep active, it will be deleted and you will not get your WS back. Don't angst about it, either. You bought it, you use it.

Novel Boards.

You'll need to be able to keep your novel board active at least once every three weeks. This means you have twenty-one days to think of something to write. And not even that. If people ...

Notice that you can change the color of the topic's subject from the dropdown menu on the right? Well, there are rules to that, so read up on them!

Forum game topics should be Cyan and noted as [game] (unless in the game section).

Contest topics should be Orange and noted as [contest] (unless in the contest section).

Outline topics should be Yellow and noted as [outline].

More may come up, but this is it for now. Use them correctly.

Otherwise known as Writer's Source.

As a new member, you've already got ten points in your grip. Use them wisely...if you can. Moderators and the Admin (hey, that's me!) are in charge of this. Basically, if we see someone who should be awarded points, then we'll give them some. If they're being punished, we take away some. But if you wrote a story or something, and you wanted to thank someone for critiquing it, contact a moderator or me, and we shall award the points.

Posting a work requires you to have at least two in-depth critiques. Meaning, I don't want you simply telling someone "Oh, wow, what an awesome story!" just to be able to post your own stuff. No. Offer helpful advice. Even if you aren't good at critiquing, there is always something wrong with someone's writing. Always. If you are a new member, you receive one freebie posting. That's the only advantage for you people. If you post your writing without offering two critiques to people, ...

Common Sense, that is. Everyone needs to drink in everything that has been written. I don't want you missing on those little droplets either. Every. Little. Bit. needs to be thoroughly stashed into your brains. Get drunk off of this stuff.

Staying active is a must here. While, yes, there are times when you won't be able to come online for a while, such as school exams, vacation, and illness, you'll need to stay as active as possible. If you are not active for more than a week, then your ...
